As an appetizer we use to find a refreshing meal. Light and easy recipe food.
Fruits are always a good choice as a base ingredients. Here one appetizer recipe made from apple combined with cranberry fruit and finally topped with caramel sauce. Delicious and refresing.
Ingredients :
4 large apples, peeled, cored, finely chopped, about 4 cups chopped apples
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped cranberries
1 tablespoonful lemon juice
2 teaspoonful baking soda
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoonful salt
2 teaspoonful based cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoonful vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
2 cups granulated sugar
Cooking Direction :
PreHeat oven to 350°
Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan
Mix the chopped apples and cranberries in a large bowl. Add the lemon juice, toss and set aside
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, set aside
Beat the eggs with oil, sugar, and vanilla till smooth and well combined with an electric mixer
Slowly beat in the dry ingredients till moistened
Sprinkle batter in the prepared pan
Bake for about 50 minutes, or till the cake springs back when lightly touched with a finger
Cut into squares to serve.
Topped with sugar or caramel sauce
