French Onion Meatloaf Bread

French Onion Meatloaf Bread recipe pictureHere is a meatloaf recipe which is so easy recipe and delicious taste. One of the Ingredient is condensed French onion soup which you can buy canned or you can make it by yourself with my recipe ( see link " French Onion Soup Recipe " ) and enjoy the remaining French Onion Soup itself as a soup dish .

Ingredients:


2 pounds lean ground beef

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 can condensed French onion soup, undiluted.

1/4 teaspoonful salt

1/4 teaspoonful pepper

1 tablespooful dried parsley flakes

ketchup or barbecue sauce, optional



Cooking Direction :


Combine all ingredients in a large bowl


Pack into a meatloaf pan or a loaf pan (large 9x5x3-inch).


Bake at 350° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.


Spread the top with a little barbecue sauce or ketchup about 5 or 10 minutes before done.


Let rest a few minutes before slicing


Served for 6

Walnut Crisp Banana Bread

Ingredients
:

For the Dough:

3 ripe bananas

1/2 cup soft butter

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

4 large eggs

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoonful vanilla

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoonful salt

2 teasponful baking power

2 teasponful baking soda

2 teasponful cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped walnuts


For the Topping :

1 sliced banana

1/4 cup chopped walnuts



Cooking Direction :


Peel the bananas and break them into small pieces in a large bowl.

Use a potato masher and smash the bananas, Set aside.


In a separate bowl mix together and cream the soft butter, white sugar and brown sugar all together with a wooden spoon.

Add the beaten eggs and mix till smooth

Add the buttermilk and vanilla

Mix together till well combined

Add the smashed bananas, Mix well


In a separate bowl combine the flour, salt baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon

Using a wire whisk mix together

Pour the flour mixture into the liquid

Mix together till just combined

Fold in the chopped walnuts


Pour batter into a well greased 9 x 5 loaf pan

Peel a banana ( for the topping ) and slice into pieces

Place the banana slice down the middle of the loaf

Top the banana slices with chopped walnuts


Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 - 60 minutes

If you place a thermometer into the center of the loaf it should register between 180 to 185 degrees or till a skewer inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean


Allow the banana bread to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.


Cool completely on a wire rake

Let it for about 1 hour before cutting

Apple Oatmeal Raisin Bread

Ingredients :


2 cups whole wheat flour

2 cups rolled oats

2 cups buttermilk

1½ cups raisins

1 cup firmly packed, light brown sugar

3 eggs, lightly beaten

2 tablespoonful baking soda

2 tablespoonful baking powder

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce



Cooking Direction :


Preheat oven to 350° F.


Generously butter a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan


Combine the flour, rolled oats, buttermilk, raisins, sugar, eggs, baking soda, and baking powder in a large bowl

Mix well till fully moistened, but do not overheat

Add the Apple sauce, mixx well


Fill the loaf pan 3/4 full and bake 1 hour, or tll a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool in a pan for 5 minutes

Unmold and cool on wire rack


Can be frozen

Let it for about 1 hour before cutting
