chocolate orange cupcakes
Full chocolates ... yummy, always my favourite. It's an easy recipe, try it to get the very rich chocolate cupcake taste. The famous deliciousness of chocolate combine with the orange flavour is a definitely a "must try" chocolate cake recipe.

Ingredients :
165 g self-raising flour
30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
220 g caster sugar
2 whole eggs, smoothly beaten
170 ml milk
125 g unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoonful finely grated orange zest
Orange buttercream
250 g icing sugar, sifted
60 g unsalted butter, softened
2 teaspoonful finely grated orange zest
2 tablespoonful orange juice
Sweets to decorate
Cooking Direction :
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C (350°F/gas mark 4). Line 12 standard muffin holes with paper cases
Mix the flour and the cocoa into a large bowl, then stir in the sugar.
Add the egg, milk, melted butter and orange zest and beat with electric beaters forabout 2 mins, or till well combined and smooth.
Transfer the mixture divided evenly among the cup cases
Bake for 18-20 mins, or till a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the centre of a cake.
Remove to a wire rack and allow to cool
For the orange buttercream :
Mix 125 g of the icing sugar, the butter, zest and orange juice in a mixing bowl
Beat with electric beaters till smooth and creamy
Gradually add the remaining icing sugar and beat till the cream is thick
Decorate each cake with buttercream and sweets
