I always want to make my own Lasagna. But many Lasagna Recipe that i knew are very complicated. One day I found a quite simple Lasagna Recipe. I hope you can try it at home too. This Italian Food could be your family's favourite.

Ingredients :
28oz can crushed tomatoes
28oz can whole tomatoes, crush
8oz package sliced cremini mushrooms
1 lb Italian Sauce
1 celery leaves, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/2 red pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoonful fresh rosmery, chopped
1 tablespoonful freshthyme, chopped
1 tablespoonful dried oregano
1 tablespoonful dried basil
Salt, pepper, to taste
2 tablespoonful vegetable oil
To assemble :
Fresh Lasagna Noodles (9x11 inches each)
2 x 500g containers of cottage cheese, strained
1 whole egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lbs mozarella cheese, grated
1 cup ground Parmesan cheese
Cooking Direction :
For the Sauce
Heat 1 tablespoonful oil on a sauce pan. Add the mushrooms, saute till very wilted
Add another 1 tablespoonful oil.
Add remaining vegetables, cook till wilted
Remove to a bowl, set aside
Add the italian sauce to the pan and break up sauce, cook till golden brown
Return vegetables back to pan
Add tomatoes and herbs
Simmer to lo heat for about 1 hour
Preheat oven 375
Mix the egg and garlic into the strained cottage cheese, set aside
Drizzle some sauce into the botom of 13x9x2 Lasagna pan
Arrange a single layer of noodles over sauce
Spread 1/3 of the cottage cheese
Cover with 1/3 of the mozarella cheese
Spread sauce over the cheese
Lay another layer of noodles over sauce and repeat with the remaining layer
Finish with the last noodles and sauce on top
Cover with parmesan cheese
Cover with foil, Bake for 45 minutes
Remove foil, Bake for further 15 minutes
Allow to cool about 15 minutes before cutting
